We used Rooftop Rooms for a dormer loft conversion in our Victorian terrace last year and were very pleased with the overall experience. From the outset, Colin was clear about what was required and offered some excellent design ideas to help maximise the space. Rooftop Rooms also has a transparent pricing structure, which meant we had a clear understanding of costs from the beginning. As with any construction project, there were a few inevitable teething issues along the way, but Gary was always quick to respond and came to site promptly whenever needed to resolve them—even on bank holidays. Any communication challenges we experienced were generally with subcontractors rather than the Rooftop team themselves, who were consistently professional, polite, and helpful. Sally and Hayley in the office were excellent throughout the project, keeping everything organised and ensuring matters were followed up efficiently. Overall, I would happily recommend Rooftop Rooms. Their transparency, responsiveness, and commitment to customer service made the process much smoother. We used Rooftop rooms for our loft conversion (double dormer in an L shape). We are delighted with the amazing space they have created for our family and the loft was finished to a high standard. Roof Top Rooms has just completed my loft conversion and the work from start to finish was handled with excellence. All snags were finalised, the whole team from the office to the tradesmen worked efficiently with little mess and were a joy to be around. I'm beyond thrilled with my new bedroom and shower room and I highly recommend Roof Top Rooms.  It wasn't as stressful as I thought it would be.  Special thanks to Gary who managed the project with care, Sally and Hayley for their invaluable advice in the office and their weekly schedules. Rooftop Rooms did a fantastic job on our loft conversion. The bulk of the building work was completed within two months which was greatly appreciated in winter. They gave us lots of good advice throughout the process and were flexible and considerate to the changes we asked for - things like window types and sizes, electrical socket placements, bathroom layout etc. The end result was exactly what we wanted and I would definitely recommend them.

We used Rooftop Rooms for a loft conversion: a bedroom + bathroom. Have to say that they were excellent from start to finish. A couple of elements worth highlighting. Firstly, the advice they offered throughout the process from planning through construction was top notch. They made things really clear and transparent gave us great information. Secondly, the construction itself was great and carried out to a high standard. Mitch and his crew were really good throughout and it went smoothly and surprisingly quickly. All the carpentry, electrics, plumbing etc. was organised well too. Gary, who was project managing the whole thing, was also really helpful providing us with advice, running through things with us, and getting any snagging done quickly at the end. Ultimately, they did everything they said they would, on budget, and did it to the timescales they'd set. We're really pleased with the results - couldn't ask for any more! We have used Rooftop Rooms now for the 2nd time to do our loft conversion in Hadley Wood.  It was a big, ambitious project that involved removing the whole roof, lifting the gables on each side and creating 3 x huge dormas at the back, and 2 x dormas in the front.   They employ all their own tradesmen, who are the nicest builders we have ever met.   Most of the employees were still with them from the last time we used them 8 years ago to do our loft conversion in Whetstone, which just show that the company is run by nice people.  They are trustworthy and keep their promises.   Gary and Colin, the two owners, just does not let you down and are always there to ensure that we were happy.   They go out of their way to keep everything on track, and communication was outstanding throughout the 9 month project.   Yes, things can go wrong, but they just on it straight away and sort it out - no questions asked and no quibbles. We cannot recommend them highly enough.

We’ve been thoroughly impressed with Rooftop Rooms from start to finish. Our loft conversion was managed brilliantly, with timely and effective communication from Hayley and Sally in the office and our PM Gary was always on hand to advise and support with decisions and things that cropped up along the way. We couldn’t believe how quickly the build took shape, with Adam and the team working incredibly long days to get the roof off and back on again with minimal fuss. Everyone worked so hard. Delighted with the work Rooftop Rooms have done for us to convert our loft to a master bedroom with ensuite and walk in wardrobe. The build was completed by a highly professional team of reliable and skilled tradesmen. There was good communication from Hayley and Sally and Project Manager Gary ensured everything ran smoothly and was there to answer questions where we had them. The 1st fix carpentry team led by Adam and his team worked long hours and the loft took shape very quickly and it was really impressive how quickly the structural work was completed with then no downtime before the next element of the build. We recently had a loft conversion done with Rooftop Rooms and are really pleased with the results. I was really apprehensive about getting building work done, after we had a terrible experience with another company a couple of years ago. But Rooftop Rooms really put my mind at rest from the start with their professionalism, knowledge and communication. Everyone involved from Gary to Sally, Hayley and Kerry in the office, to the teams of carpenters, plumbers and electricians, and the snagging team, were all so friendly and helpful throughout. There was always someone at the end of the phone if we had any questions and we knew exactly what was happening each week. Everyone who has seen the room has commented on the high quality of the work. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Rooftop Rooms - and they have restored my faith in building companies!
